Communications Imperative

Students sometimes decide against attending a school because of poor communication.

According to Ellucian, a software provider serving the higher ed market, 48 percent of students who apply to multiple colleges have decided against enrolling in an institution because of poor communication. In contrast, 87 percent of students who receive personalized communications from colleges during their application process consider it an important factor in their choice of which school to attend.

“Students, alumni, and administrators agree: Data-driven Communications Make a Difference” is based on a survey of 500 college students, 500 recent graduates, and 300 administrators. Download the white paper.
